Larkin Brings Global Leadership Experience from AB InBev to Support GameChanger's Continued Growth
GameChanger, the #1 rated youth sports app for live streaming, scheduling, statistics, and scorekeeping, today announced the appointment of Briana Larkin as Chief People Officer. Larkin joins GameChanger’s Executive Leadership Team and will oversee the company’s Talent Acquisition, People, and Workplace functions.
Larkin brings deep expertise at the intersection of people, strategy, and transformation. She joins GameChanger from ABInBev, where she spent eight years in various leadership roles, most recently serving as Global Vice President of People & Business Strategy. In that role, she supported more than 3,000 employees across global technology and commercial teams, and played a key role in scaling BEES (ABInBev’s B2B digital platform) to 28+ countries and over $49 billion USD in annual GMV.
Larkin’s addition comes during a time of rapid growth for GameChanger. With approximately 9 million unique active users and over 1 million teams created on the platform, the company reached over $100 million in sales in fiscal 2024, driven by a close to 40% revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) since 2017, and is targeting $150 million in revenue for 2025. The company's full-time headcount has nearly doubled over the past two years.
“Our teammates and culture are at the heart of everything we do,” said Sameer Ahuja, GameChanger president and DICK’S Sporting Goods senior vice president. “As we continue to grow, Briana brings the experience and perspective we need to scale both with care and intention. I’m proud of the work of our Executive and Senior Leadership Team, and excited to welcome Briana as we advance our vision to ‘Be The Home of Youth Sports.’”
GameChanger has been recognized as a “Best Place to Work” by multiple outlets, including Fast Company, Front Office Sports, and Sports Business Journal.
